We were invited to attend the match between Notts and Derbys at Trent Bridge. Some of our young players had the honour of being mascots.

Our young players and coaches representing Kinoulton Cricket Club at Trent Bridge.

Some of them were able to enjoy a game on the pitch.

CHANCE TO SHINE is an initiative to bring cricket into state schools. Kinoulton CC is proud to be a part of this scheme. Our coaches are involved with Kinoulton PS, Long Clawson PS, Candleby lane Cotgrave, Willowbrook School and Crossdale Drive PS. This will culminate in a inter-school tournament at Kinoulton CC on 23rd June!!

LADIES TEAM?

The club developed a girls' section 5 years ago and it continues to go from strength to strength. There is a kwik cricket team and a hard ball team competing in the Nottinghamshire Youth Leagues. The club boasts 5 girls representing the County at U13 or U15. This season, several of the girls have been playing for the men's Saturday 2nd XI and the Sunday team. Coach David Richards said we are looking to see if we can form a ladies team to provide a pathway for the older girls once they leave school and are unable to play in the designated youth leagues.

We are keen to hear from any Mums / friends in the village, surrounding villages, or Melton area who might be interested in playing.
